McDermid Named District Baseball C-O-Y

(ANGOLA) - A postseason honor for Angola Hornets baseball coach Jerry McDermid. He has been named the District Coach of the Year for northeast Indiana by the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association. The Hornets were 20-9 this season. They won the Northeast Corner Conference Tournament championship and shared the regular season title with Fairfield. The Hornets also won a Class 3A sectional championship.
