ROBERT ROGERS is from Ft.Wayne, IN. He is affiliated with FOCUS ON THE FAMILY & the BILLY GRAHAM GOSPEL CRUSADE. He wrote the book "INTO THE DEEP."

ROBERT is a singer, songwriter, & pianist of Contemporary Christian music.

In 2003, he experienced a tragedy of Biblical proportions when his wife & 4 children died in a flash flood. Now Robert teaches other HOW TO LIVE A LIFE OF NO REGRETS.

"Marys' Buds" a Lagrange County Relay for Life team will be having a yard and bake sale on May 24th. and 25th. at 611 South Townline Road in Lagrange Indiana from 9am - 5pm. We will have many household items, fishing equipment, hand made afagans and many other items for sale. We will also have hamburgers, hot dogs and lemon aide. All the money will go to the LaGrange County Relay for Lire. Please come see what treasures you can find and help us fight cancer!

The 2013 Turtle races will be held at Bledsoes Beach on Sunday, May 26th. Registration is at 12:15 to 2:00 p.m. with the parade at 2:30 and the start of racing at 2:25. If you want to be in the parade show up at 2:00.

The Fremont American Legion Post 257 will be having a steak fry Saturday, June 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A steak dinner will cost $12.00 per person, open to the public. Proceeds will go to local charities.

117th FHS Alumni Banquet

The 117th annual Fremont High School Alumni Banquet will honor this year's graduating seniors, as well as the classes of 1963 and 1988.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 8th, at 6:00 p.m. at Fremont Middle School. All Fremont alumni and parents of graduating seniors may attend. Tickets are on sale at the Shop-Rite in Fremont, beginning May 15th through June 5th.

Miss Steuben County Queen Pageant

The 2013 Miss Steuben County Queen Pageant will be Monday, July 15th at 7pm in the Steuben County Community Building Auditorium. Girls interested in participating can pick up an entry packet at the Steuben County Extension office. Those planning to enter the pageant must return the completed forms to the Extension office by Thursday June 15th at 4pm. Angola Elks Lodge #2398 is hosting a Blues, Brews, & BBQ Car Show and Charity Fundraiser on Saturday, June 29th from 10:00 AM until 3:00PM. We are raising funds for cancer research to be donated to Indiana Elks Charities, Inc. to fund cancer research at Indiana’s two cancer research facilities.
