Several Arrested For Underage Drinking In LaGrange

Nearly a dozen young people were arrested Sunday for underage drinking. Dozens more juveniles were also detained and released to parents.

The LaGrange County Jail reports 11 people were charged minor in possession of alcohol and later bonded out.

Deputies were called to a residence at 5725 East County Road 300 South near Lagrange for a report of a female with a possible drug overdose. Upon arrival a 19-year-old male told officers he thought he had been drugged.

Two minors were taken to Parkview Lagrange Hospital for possible drug overdose.

Those jailed and later released on bond included 19-year-old Stephen Miller of Shipshewana, 20-year-old Ervin Miller of Topeka, 19-year-old Michael Whetstone of Lagrange, 18-year-old John Miller of Ligonier, 18-year-old Naomi Mishler of Topeka, 19-year-old Mahalath Miller of Topeka, 18-year-old Erma Lehman of Topeka, 19-year-old Linda Miller of Syracuse, 20-year-old Sean Lambright of Middlebury, 19-year-old Marcus Yoder of Milford, and 18-year-old Derreck Ropp of Goshen.
