The pretrial hearing for Williams County Sheriff, Steve Towns has officially been postponed for two months.

Towns is facing four misdemeanor charges in an incident in which he posted around documents related to child abuse cases and other complaints on social media publicly where he makes several accusations in the supposed errors and failures of county family services agents.

If convicted, Towns faces a maximum possible sentence of 14 months in jail.
