Albion Man Facing Charges After Motorcycle Pursuit

An Albion man faces charges following a pursuit that began in Lagrange and ended in Noble County on Saturday afternoon. The LaGrange Police account of the incident was posted to Facebook.

An officer attempted to stop a motorcycle in the area of 150 North and
Old 9 for traffic violations. The driver of the cycle – identified as Skyler Ott of Albion, refused to stop and fled south on State Road 9.

The chase headed into Noble County where the cycle struck another vehicle at the intersection of U-S 6 but continued to flee from officers. It finally ended in the area of 175 North and 150 East in Noble County as Ott was taken into custody without injury. He faces LaGrange County charges of resisting law enforcement with a motor vehicle, reckless and aggressive driving.

Further charges are possible in Noble County
