Monday, September 9, 2019

A federal judge approved the purging of 235,000 names from Ohio’s voter registration rolls and the Williams County Board of Elections followed suit, and will move ahead with its own process.

The elimination of 842 names of inactive Williams County voters followed several attempts by officials to reach those voters, as mandated by the Ohio law.

Prior to the purge there were 24,844 registered voters in Williams County.
