Indiana Attorney General Still Under Fire
Thursday, October 17, 2019

Lawyers involved in the case circling around Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill are trying to block two women from testifying about previous sexual misconduct allegations as the A.G. faces claims that he drunkenly groped four women at an Indianapolis bar last year.

The state of Indiana's attorney disciplinary commission wants the women to testify about Hill’s actions when he was the Elkhart County prosecutor before becoming attorney general back in 2017.

Meanwhile, Hill’s lawyers argue in legal filings that such testimony about unrelated events should not be allowed in next week’s professional misconduct hearing against Hill, a hearing that could lead to actions ranging from reprimands to him being disbarred.

The four women accused Hill of touching their backs or buttocks during a party.
