The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Monday, between 5AM -7PM.

The NWS says “wintry weather moves in late tonight through Tuesday”, with precipitation that will begin tonight as rain, and then change over to snow into Monday. This system has a predicted snow amount of 2 to 4 inches is expected by Monday evening.

Forecasters say travel impacts will become widespread by Monday evening. Very cold air will keep highs only around 25 Tuesday.

According to the NWS, drivers in the tri-state should expect this weather system will impact both morning and afternoon commutes on Monday, including slippery road conditions.
