Coldwater Sees Mid-November Punch From Old Man Winter
Tuesday, November 12, 2019

Between seven and nine inches of snow have been reported from around area after Monday’s snow which started in the wee hours of the morning and did not stop until the early evening.

The winter blast led to a busy day for emergency responders as according to the Branch County 911 log for Monday, there were 25 property damage accidents reported along with 34 slide offs.

The City of Coldwater reports that road crews have to plow about four feet away from the curb in order to avoid the leaf piles that were raked near the road before the storm as plowing them showers the surrounding area with leaves.

A bigger concern for Tuesday is the frigid cold temperatures expected, which could result in record low temperatures for today's date, Tuesday, November 12th.
