Indiana Lt. Governor Excited About The 20IN20 Campaign

As people make plans to travel during the new year, one popular travel guide has Northeast Indiana listed as one of the top places to go. Frommer’s named “Indiana Among the World’s Top Places to Go in 2020".

Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch says it could be a big year for tourism in the Hoosier state, which is why state officials have launched a new campaign for those wanting to explore Indiana…

The Lt. Governor says these lists will take you all over the state, mentioning two familiar to Northeast Indiana, specifically the towns of Auburn and Angola.

In addition to Auburn and Angola, the Blue Gate Restaurant of Shipshewana also appears on the list.

Visit Indiana is dedicating a microsite to The 20 IN 20. Visitors can sign up for email alerts with special information. Travelers are encouraged to post photos on Instagram with #The20IN20 for a chance to win a giveaway that includes custom prizes such as beanies, umbrellas, beach towels, and stadium blankets.

The 20 cities and towns on the list are all home to 25,000 people or less. Others include Madison, Wabash, Aurora, Nashville, Greenfield, Huntingburg, Greencastle, Village at Winona, Fortville, Goshen, Shelbyville, Vincennes, Richmond, Danville and Jasper.
