After persistent heavy rainfall pelted the tri-state area over the weekend with a small taste of winter overnight Sunday and into this morning, it appears that things will be on the mild side for the week ahead across the region.
According to the National Weather Service, conditions for today will be foggy at times with some light snow falling throughout the day however temperatures being into the 40s in some areas will prevent any of it from sticking.
Meanwhile, partly sunny conditions accompanied with temperatures in the 40s will be prevalent throughout the week this week so travel conditions should not be too bad on daily commutes.
The next chance of winter weather will come on Friday, with temperatures hovering above or right at freezing.
