Patchy Fog & Rain Dominate Short-Term Forecast
Thursday, March 19, 2020

Patchy fog will start the day across the tri-state region, mixed in with periods of misty rain but it will come with a minor warm-up for the next 48 hours before temperatures plummet back to winter like temperatures for much of the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions today will see temperatures reach into the high 50s and low 60s in some areas but will include periods of rain throughout the afternoon with thunderstorms possible after 5 P.M.

Conditions for Friday see a lingering chance of showers remain and eventually ending, but temperatures will plummet throughout the day lending for dryer conditions for Saturday and Sunday with highs only reaching into the mid to high 30s.

The colder temperatures will not last long as a gradual warm-up is expected for the early part of next work week.
