Rumors surrounding ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital's Emergency Department are just that, rumors.

ProMedica officials say with all of the uncertainty around COVID-19, many
rumors are circulating in the community via social media and word of mouth that ProMedica Coldwater's Emergency Department have been turning away patients and will be closing.

The rumors are false. ProMedica encourages the community to rely on credible sources of information only, including ProMedica itself, local news, local and state officials and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

ProMedica will communicate any important information through those channels.
