Ohio’s Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Tops Off Over 2K

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The state of Ohio has hit just past the 2-thousand mark for confirmed COVID-19. The Ohio Department of Health reported Tuesday 2,199 confirmed coronavirus cases in Ohio are spread across 71 of the state’s 88 counties, with 55 deaths. The case total was up from 1,933 cases in 70 counties reported Monday, while the number of deaths increased from 39. Tuesday’s report included the first case for Perry County. Locally in Northwest Ohio, Defiance County has 5 reported cases, while Fulton County has 2. According to Tuesday’s numbers, Williams County does not have any confirmed cases of COVID-19.
