Michigan COVID-19 Cases Up Once Again

In a report issued on Wednesday in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic from the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency, the number of positive cases in Branch County outside of the Lakeland Correctional Facility had remained at Tuesday's figure of two but the number of cases have gone up in Hillsdale and Saint Joseph Counties.

The number of positive cases in the three-county jurisdiction as of 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday includes five cases in St. Joseph County and 19 cases with one death in Hillsdale County as the Michigan Department of Corrections reported 14 positive cases have been confirmed at the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services released information Wednesday afternoon which showed the total number of cases statewide was at 9,334 with 337 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
