Ohio’s Stay At Home Extended
Friday, April 3, 2020

COLUMBUS, OH - Ohio’s stay-at-home and essential businesses order has been extended to May 1st by Governor Mike Dewine.

This will be a significant change for retail businesses in Ohio, and will go into effect on Monday. The order will require retail businesses to self-determine a max occupancy for their buildings, post it, and enforce it. The governor also asked retail business owners to allow their employees, at greater risk of exposure, to wear masks.

In addition, those traveling into Ohio from elsewhere are being asked to self-quarantine for 14 days, with the notable exception of those who live close to state borders.

Ohio health officials say the buckeye state could hit its peak with the coronavirus between April 15 and May 15, but advise those numbers could change.
