MSD of Steuben County Issues Plan For Adjusted Learning Schedule

According to a letter that went out to parents on Friday, MSD of Steuben County Superintendent Brent Wilson has issued a plan for students within the district to reach the required amount of days needed to complete the 2019-2020 academic year in accordance with the revised requirements issued from the state of Indiana that were issued last week.

The plan is for the remainder of the school year will utilize ELearning, which will now take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through the end of May in which Monday, and Fridays will continue to be waiver days without any type of instruction. This will result in the use of 24 eLearning days to wrap up the school year, with the last day for students continuing to be scheduled for May 28th.

Wilson went on to indicate that student safety is a top priority, and that remote learning is the best way to accomplish this goal as well as ensuring the safety of the staff and faculty as well.

Wilson went on to thank everyone involved for their support and cooperation.
