MONTPELIER, OH - The Montpelier Village Council has approved budget cuts and an amendment to the utility policy.
Both the cuts and the policy changes were in response to the ongoing pandemic. Much like other area towns, customer’s ability to pay their bills was hampered by a variety of things as a direct result related to the coronavirus pandemic.
Fees from penalties and for disconnections will continue to be waived. So far, the village has written off over $28 thousand dollars in fees.
