Ball State To Resume On-Campus Classes This August
Friday, May 29, 2020

As Indiana slowly opens back up, one prominent university has announced its intentions for students to return to campus this fall. Ball State University will resume on-campus classes and welcome students back to residence halls coming this August.

In a letter to students and families Wednesday, university President Geoffrey Mearns said Ball State’s board of trustees approved a plan to “resume on-campus instruction” beginning Augugst 24.

The plan, built from recommendations by a planning group, calls for evening and possibly weekend classes, “front-loaded” curriculum in certain classes, and a host of online courses.

However, one change from the normal academic calendar is that the school’s fall break has been canceled for the 2020-2021 school year.
