2020 Indiana Primary Election Results - LaGrange County
Wednesday, June 3, 2020

The results from the LaGrange County Primary Election have been released.

In the Republican Primary, and the race for the party's nomination for the County Commission Middle District seat, Kevin Myers won the nomination with 1,217 votes. Incumbent Commissioner Dennis Kratz received 1157 votes and Raymond Hoover had 485 votes.

Running unopposed for the Republican nomination for the County Commission
South District seat was Incumbent Larry Miller with 2,583 votes.

In the election for the Republican nomination for the three At Large seats on the LaGrange County Council, all three Incumbents won the race. Jeff Brill received 1,933 votes; Steve McKowen had 1,814 votes and Michael Strawser got 1,781 votes. Kimberly McKibben received 1,715 votes.

Running unopposed for the Republican nomination were the following incumbents: Kim Johnson, Circuit Court Clerk (2,624); Jamesi Lemon,
County Treasurer (2,606); Kenneth Myers, County Coroner (2,646); Shelia Getz, County Recorder (2,601); and Lisa Bowen-Slaven, Superior Court Judge (2,743).

In the Democratic Primary election, Tom Swihart won the party's nomination to run for the LaGrange County Council At Large Seat, receiving 586 votes.

Currently, Kevin Myers, Miller, Johnson, Lemon, Bowen-Slaven, Kenneth Myers and Getz will be running unopposed in the November election.
