Bryan Municipal Utilities Customers Could See Summer Increases
By: Sheila McCrea - Monday, June 29, 2020

BRYAN, OH - Officials with Bryan Municipal Utilities say bills can fluctuate during the hottest and the coldest months of the year, to reflect an increase in consumption.

As customers crank up their air conditioning or heating and lawn irrigation systems, and long-range forecasts calling for temperatures close to 90 for the next 10 days, residential utility bills for the next month or two could be higher than average.

BMU says COVID-19 also has played a part in changes to residential bills because more people are working from home, which drives up usage.
