On Sunday Afternoon at around 2:43 P.M., DeKalb County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the scene of State Road 1 and County Road 63 in DeKalb County.

Upon arrival, crews found a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu that had been traveling south on County Road 65A. At that time, a second vehicle in the likes of a 2000 Toyota 4Runner was pulling a seadoo on a trailer, was traveling west bound on State Road 1. The first vehicle stopped at the stop sign at the intersection and continued through the intersection, pulling in front of the 4Runner. It was then that the two made contact.

Both vehicles came to rest on the south side of the State Road 1 and County Road 63 intersection in the in East bound lane.
The driver of the first vehicle, a 17-year-old Female from Hicksville, Ohio was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries. The driver of the second vehicle, 18-year-old Chase A. Leeper of Butler was treated at the scene with no injuries sustained in the incident.
