New Deputy Marshal in Ashley-Hudson

ASHLEY, IN - The Ashley-Hudson Police Department has announced the hiring of Austin Hall to fill their vacant Deputy Marshal position. Austin is a 2014 graduate of Fremont High School. He has served in the National Guard since 2014.

Prior to his hire with the AHPD, Austin has been employed at the Dekalb County Jail since 2016, with a promotion to Sergeant in 2019. Most recently he has been serving the Town of Butler as a reserve police officer since 2019.

Deputy Hall started his field training on Monday. He will attend the 15 week basic police academy at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy at a time yet to be determined.
