Angola Council Approves CARES Act Projects

The Angola Common Council approved projects to improve city buildings with COVID-19 CARES act funding.

The City of Angola was awarded a little over $282,000 in CARES act funding. To date, the city has spent less than $63,000. The Council approved to use the remainder of the funding for various city building HVAC upgrades which include disinfection systems to the HVAC units. The Angola Training Center will include ADA restrooms the new home to City of Angola public meetings. Commons Hall exterior and interior upgrades will take place for ADA compliance as well. Commons Hall will be used as a testing center and is not currently ADA compliant.

The Angola Council will gather again on Monday, October 5th at the Training Center.
