LIMA TOWNSHIP – Two men were injured when their vehicles collided in LaGrange County's Lima Township.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office says 34 year old Hunter Sullivan of Cottondale, Alabama was driving east on State Road 120 from County Road 185 West at 5:23 Friday morning when he crossed the center line, going into the westbound lane.

47 year old Matt Engle of Orland was traveling east and tried to avoid Sullivan, but the two vehicles sideswiped each other. Sullivan's auto came to a rest in the south side ditch of State Road 120. Engle crossed over the center line and flipped over on its right side and landed in the ditch on the north side of State Road 120.

Both drivers were trapped and had to be removed by rescue personnel. Once they were free from their vehicles, both Sullivan and Engle were flown by Samaritan Helicopter to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Sullivan had multiple fractures and a possible head injury. Engle complained of pain.

Assisting deputies at the scene were the LaGrange, Howe and Mongo Fire Departments, the Indiana State Police and Parkview LaGrange EMS.
