LAGRANGE – Ordinance codification is continuing for LaGrange County.

During a recent meeting, the LaGrange County Council received an update on the process from Councilman Harold Gingerich, who shares his committee has been going through and looking at ordinances that have been on the books. Councilman Harold Gingerich says they have been looking at old ordinances to make sure they are updated. Instead of having them bound in a book like they used to have to do, the ordinances are now digitally put on the LaGrange County website so they can look them up themselves.

Gingerich says they are just about done reviewing and updating the older ordinances. He says from now on any new ordinances that are approved by County government will also be placed on line for the citizens to see.
