Skies will be mostly sunny today with near normal temperatures.

The National Weather Service says a frontal system approaches Sunday with a small chance for a light shower. Forecasters say the front moves through the region on Monday with a much better likelihood of showers, along with a chance of storms, especially in the afternoon hours.

A series of disturbances will lead to occasional chances for showers through much of next week.
