A LaGrange County Veteran will be on an honor flight, leaving Fort Wayne on Wednesday.

89-year-old, Carl Plasterer, served in the Army from 1956 to 1958, as an optometrist. He was stationed in Colorado and France.

He is now retired and living at senior living center in Goshen.

The honor flights are free for the veterans. The trip includes going to memorials and honoring fellow veterans.
