SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP – A rollover accident injured a Three Rivers woman Monday afternoon.

According to the Branch County Sheriff’s Department, 31 year old Marie Hyde was driving east on Division Street just after 2:30 PM when she lost control of her vehicle, going around a curve and onto Babcock Road. Investigators say her automobile went off the road, struck a ditch and then rolled over several times. Her vehicle hit a power pole, which knocked out power in the immediate area.

Hyde was treated at the scene and then taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital by Life Care Ambulance, who assisted at the scene along with the Sherwood Fire Department.

Hyde was wearing her safety belt, and was cited for violating the basic speed law.
