Stabbing Altercation Leads to Multiple Arrest

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department reports that they were notified of an altercation that was taking place between multiple subjects at the intersection of County Road 200 North and County Road 735 West.

Reports indicate that officers from the Sheriff’s Department and the Town of LaGrange and Shipshewana Police Departments responded to that location. While officers were en route, two of the subjects involved had left the scene in a tan pick up truck.

While the above event was in progress the LaGrange County Communications Center received another 911 call. Dispatchers were informed that there were two subjects in tan truck located at the intersection of Harrison and Middlebury Streets in Shipshewana suffering from stab wounds. Officers responded to this location as well.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Department says that Jordan Rinser and Adam Rinser were transported from the scene to Parkview LaGrange Hospital for treatment of lacerations.

Investigators say that Myron James Miller Jr. and a Christopher Aaron Susaraba were taken to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department for questioning. During the course of the investigation, Miller and Susaraba were arrested on preliminary charges of aggravated battery and assisting a criminal and lodged into the LaGrange County Jail.

The investigation in currently on going at this time.
