Eleven new troopers were assigned to the Indiana Toll Road Post following their recent graduation from the recruit academy.

Among them are several who live in the area already.

Adam Kitson is a graduate of Prairie Heights High School. Kitson earned degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Tri-State University. He currently resides in Fremont, IN.

Ben Walker is a native of Monroe, MI that owned his own landscaping company before attending the Academy. He currently resides in Angola.

Logan Hensley is a native of Angola and a graduate of Angola High School. Hensley earned an Associates Degree in general studies from Ivy Tech and lives in Valparaiso.

Alejandro Hernandez is a graduate of Eastside High School. Hernandez earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Ivy Tech and Trine University. He currently resides in Waterloo.

Jenna Makin is from Elkhart and a graduate of Concord High School. She earned a Criminal Justice degree from Indiana University South Bend and interned with the Indiana State Police. Makin currently lives in Elkhart.

And Nikolos Anderson is a graduate of Wawasee High School. He currently resides in Syracuse, IN.
