The Angola Historic Preservation Commission approved a renovation project at a local business Tuesday night.
HOC approved the demolition of the existing facade at the Venue located at 110 W. Maumee Street. The Venue plans to seek grant money from the State of Indiana for the rebuild of the second story deck as well as an install of lighting under the deck and new paint on wood and panels.
The HPC was happy to know the Venue would be saving the original pillars and columns and original window trims. The matter will next go to the Angola Common Council with a request for a facade grant.
The HPC officially set a school tour for May 21 and organized tentative plans for an educational Trine University tour on May 10th.
