A Henry County woman has died in a two-vehicle crash near Liberty Center.
Investigative reports indicate that Sandra Crandall of Napoleon, died at the scene. Athorities also reported that a passenger in Crandall’s car, Laura Brown of Napoleon, was badly hurt.
Brown was flown to a Toledo hospital in serious condition.
Witnesses told investigators the accident on Ohio 110, west of County Road 7, in Harrison Township, happened when a semi, driven by Craig Greene of Asheville, North Carolina, was attempting to turn around. The tractor/trailer was blocking both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway. That’s when Crandall crashed into the side of the trailer of the semi, which wedged her vehicle underneath.
The crash remains under investigation.
