The Town of Wolcottville issued a boil water advisory for all residents after the battle against a fire downtown resulted in low water pressure on Saturday.

The fire was just north of the Tarrgart's Office Supply building on State Road 9 north of the stop light.

The building was previously known as the Wolcottville Antique mall and was currently occupied by MC Surplus and owned by Mary Malle of Rome City.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.

Several fire departments provided assistance at the scene.
