Area roads throughout the tri-state region are slick.

Between 9:30 PM last night and 7:30 AM this morning the Steuben County Sheriff's Department has responded to five personal injury vehicle accidents, according to the Steuben County Sheriff's Department Duty Summary. That number obviously does not include other counties in the tri-state region, cities, or even state police posts.

Many morning roads were ice covered with black ice in many portions of the area.
