U.S. Senator Mike Braun introduced three bills earlier this month in an effort to hopefully curb rising drug and prescription costs that have rapidly risen across the country over the last several years.

In early March, Braun introduced the Drug Price Transparency Act, the Accelerated Drug Approval for Prescription Therapies Act, and the Efficiency and Transparency in Petitions Act. Braun discussed that this on-going problem effects everyone across the country from everyday citizens, to members of his staff.

Braun also discussed the importance of looking more into more cost effective generic drugs and implementing them more into the U.S. Marketplace.
