Court Case Against Napoleon High School Teacher Continues
Wednesday, May 15, 2019

The case against a former Napoleon High School teacher facing charges of sexual imposition, has been delayed.

Randy Burke of Napoleon, has been indicted on six counts and a jury trial has been set for August 5th. However, the pretrial hearing has been moved to July 15th.

Burke was placed on paid administrative leave from all teaching and coaching duties in September, after sexual harassment complaints were filed against him. He was indicted by a Henry County grand jury last November and the district suspended him without pay. In April, Burke resigned from all contracts he had with Napoleon Area Schools, as the board of education accepted it without incident.
