Inmate At Miami Correctional Found Dead

Investigators are treating the death of a South Bend man who was incarcerated at the Miami Correctional Facility near Peru as a homicide.

They suspect foul play in the death of 70-year-old Lannie Morgan, who was found unresponsive in his cell Monday morning. Morgan died before reaching the hospital. State Police are conducting the investigation.
