Full Day Of Events At Heritage Festival

(BURR OAK) – Another full slate of events is on tap Saturday at the Burr Oak Heritage Festival.

The day starts with the pancake and sausage breakfast; the 5K run and walk; the farmer's market; the adult 3 on 3 basketball tournament; vendors and crafters at Railroad Park; the DeKalb County Horseman's Association and then the parade stepping off at 11 AM.

Then in the afternoon there will be inflatables, the fireman's hotdog sale; the ice cream social; rides in a tethered hot air balloon; mud volleyball; a cornhole tournament; line dancing lessons; some surprise entertainment in the downtown tent; a hotdog eating contest, the port-a-potty pulls and the fireworks show at dusk.

On Sunday you can come out for a pancake breakfast. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children ages 5 to 12.

There will also be a Community Church service at 10:30 AM and then a hog roast at 12 PM.
