Angola, IN

By: Jim Measel

(ANGOLA) - There has been a change of time and location for the Steuben County 4-H Fair Board's Annual Meeting on Wednesday, September 3rd. 4-H Youth Development Extension Educator Tami Mosier says it will now be held in the Steuben County Community Center and the meeting will start at 7:00pm that night. Election of new members to the Board will be held at that time.

The 4-H Fair Board has 24 members and it oversees the activities at the annual Fair during July and plans all of the events and entertainment. They also raise funds for the 4-H program in Steuben County and serves as a governing body for the Steuben County 4-H Program.

Anyone interested in submitting their name as a candidate for the 4-H Fair Board should contact the Extension Office at 668-1000, Extension 1400 on or before August 29th. Nomination forms are available at the Extension Office or online at www.extension.purdue.edu/steuben.

Mosier says at least five positions are available. Each position has a three-year term.
