Residents of the tri-state area better hold on because the wind is picking up and we are all bound to see some strong wind movement.
The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory for the majority of Northeast Indiana and most of the WLKI listening area. The advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday.
You can expect southwest winds gusting up to 45 mph at times. Driving conditions will be difficult for large vehicles such as vans and semi-trucks.
In addition, isolated power outages are possible in some areas.
It may be a good idea to have an emergency kit available for home or travel. Also be sure to have flashlights and candles available should you have a home power outage.
