Angola Common Council Approves Final Action to Begin Ball Sports Complex

The Angola Common Council had a busy agenda on Monday evening approving a number of requests and new developments.

A public hearing led to the passing of an ordinance and resolution for final action to designate the location at 200 Intertech Parkway for the Ball Sports Complex. The council also awarded Turning Point Shelter funding in the amount of $12,000. The council approved $7,500 for 2018 on June 5.

Jones and Henry Engineers, Ltd. requested an improvement to the Water Utility high service pump building and equipment for the amount of $44,800. Another request was approved for the relocation of the City's Water and Sewer facilities in regards to the US 20 Rebuild Project on East Maumee Street.

Common Council also swore in two patrol officers; Johnathan Burris and Dane Goshorn and four reserve officers; Jacob Dunlap, Max Essman, Logan Hensley, and Eric Hoyer.
