The Angola Historic Preservation Commission approved three agenda items on Tuesday evening.
The Angola Historic Preservation Commission approved the installation of a black fabric canapy awning to cover the back deck on the Venue. The awning will have The Venue's logo on it and will be 15 feet wide by 11 and a half feet out from the building. They also approved a tan colored paint job and backlit metal signage for the Angola Quilt Shop located at 206-208 W Maumee St.
They also approved a rear garage door, window, balcony, vents, and front security camera for the business located at 214 W Maumee St. The building was purchased by its current owner in October of 2017 and plans for the building are for a fresh food market and eatery bar.
The HPC also put together tentative plans for a September 7 Tour. With more details to come in September.
