Thomas Hired As New Angola Football Coach

(ANGOLA) - The M.S.D. of Steuben County Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Andrew Thomas on Tuesday night as the new Angola High School varsity head football coach. Thomas was the head coach at Garrett from 2000 until 2005 where the Railroaders won three straight Northeast Corner Conference championships and were 2003 sectional and regional champs. He has been the head coach at Culver since 2006. Thomas will take over for Josh Schoeff who resigned earlier this month. His resignation was formally accepted by the school board on Tuesday night.
