Lakeland girls lose to Eastside
(LAGRANGE) – The third quarter was the difference maker as the Eastside girls basketball team outscored host Lakeland 19-6 in the stanza and went on to beat the Lady Lakers 64-47 in NECC action. Freshman Beth Stroop led the Lakers with 19 points while Jaden Conard had 12 points in the loss. The Lady Lakers are now 1-12 overall and 0-7 in the NECC. Eastside got a game high 25 points from Lindsey Beard and 11 points from Emma Moughler. Eastside is now 8-4 overall and 5-2 in the conference.

Lakeland gymnasts third at Elkhart Central Invitational
(ELKHART) – The Lakeland gymnastics team came in third at the eight team Elkhart Central Invitational. Westview as fifth and Angola was sixth. Lakeland's Darian Freeman tied for seventh on the beam with Westview's Karyssa Davis. Whittney Ray of Lakeland was tenth on the bars while Davis came in tenth for Westview in the floor exercise.
Trine women win eighth straight game
(FRANKLIN, IN) – The Trine women's basketball team won their eighth straight game, beating host Franklin 66-47. Montana Martin of Columbia City led the Lady Thunder with a career high 14 points. Teammate Tashayla Sutorius had a career high 13 points. Taylor cole had a game high four steals to move into a tie for tenth in team history with 148 career steals. Trine is now 9-1 on the season.
