Lady Panthers Open Softball Season Beating New Haven

The Lady Panthers started their softball season off with a win against New Haven 17-4 in 5 innings.

New Haven lead after 1 inning 2-0. PH scored 4 runs in the top of the 2nd on 3 singles and 3 walks.

In the 3rd NH tied it up 4-4, but in the 4th PH broke loose with 7 runs on 3 hits and 5 walks.

PH added 6 more in the 5th on 3 more hits and 2 more walks. Lydia Johnston had a double and a 3 RBI triple. Sami Swartz had a double. Shelby Fish and Liz German had two singles each.

Prairie Heights recorded 9 hits, drew 14 walks, and 14 RBI's. Liz German struck out 7 and walked 2 for the win.
