HS GIRLS TRACK REGIONAL:

Last night the Girl's Track Team competed at the Regional Track Meet at Indiana Wesleyan in Marion. The Hornets finished in 7th place with 24 points. Those scoring for the Hornets were:

The 4x400 Team of Gabriella McHugh, Ali Cranston, Sarah Duvendack, and Josey Korte placing 8th

Katlyn Brown placed 4th in the High Jump

The top three places advance to the State Meet at Indiana University in Bloomington on Saturday, June 3rd. Those moving on for the Hornets are:
Ali Cranston who is the Regional Runner-up in the Pole Vault placing 2nd and Josey Korte who is the Regional Champion placing 1st in the 1600.


Lakeland's Kloee Fitch finished first in the discuss and third in the shot put and his headed to the state meet.
Central Noble's Kayla Kunkel advanced with a first place finish in the 200 meters. Westview's Aleka Ernsberger finished eighth. Ernsberger finished second in the 400 meters.


DeKalb's Aiden Smith was third in the 800 meter and advances to state. Tyler Schwartz and Lauren Beckman finished 1-2 in the 3200 meters.

Central Noble's Meleah Leatherman was second in the high jump. Fremont's Caitlyn Pentecost was third.

Churubusco's Rachel Jacquay won the pole vault. Angola's Ali Cranston was second. Sydney Rathburn of Prairie Heights was fifth.

HS GIRLS TENNIS REGIONAL:
Central Noble won its first match at the regional and will meet Concord for the championship at Northridge today at 5 p-m.

SYRACUSE – Eastside football coach Mike Eshbach has a new gig. He was named head coach at Wawasee High School. Eshbach coached the Blazers to a record of 46-49 over the past nine years.
