In game 7 of the Houston Astros won series 4-3 at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, California. This means the Houston Astros are World Series champions for the first time in franchise history.

Houston scored all its runs in the first two innings. George Springer's two-run home run in the second inning broke the game open. George Springer won the Willie Mays World Series MVP and tied the record with five homers.

This was the third Game 7 win in the past four World Series. The visiting team has won all three games (the Giants in 2014 and the Cubs in 2016 were the others).
