Monday, October 3, 2022
Krista Miller, Cameron Foundation Executive Director, joins WLKI's Andy St. John to tell us about October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Cameron is proud to celebrate "Pinktober" in the month of October and bring awareness to one of the leading causes of death among women. Cameron conducts mammograms, MRIs and breast ultrasounds to detect signs of cancer as early as possible. Join Cameron Foundation in raising funds and promoting awareness this month in helps of better serving our community. Proceeds benefit the Women's Health Fund through Cameron Hospital Foundation.
Each year Cameron Hospital has events for staff to create awareness, but we really want to extend this into the community this year. We have so much to be thankful for and one of those is that women are engaging in planning their preventive screenings once again.
