Mackenzie Bird, Community Coordinator for The City of Angola joins WLKI's Andy St. John, to let you know about Angola Main Street “Hometown Hero, Honor & Remember”. You can can sponsor a banner to honor a special someone in your life who is or has been in the military or is a first responder. Banners are $150 each and will be hung downtown for a year starting in November. Please contact Mackenzie Bird at mbird@angolain.org for more information on how to order. Remember these are first come first serve.

Also, hear about Angola's 4th of July Parade, honoring our Hometown Heroes along with a very special celebration of The Angola Fire Department's 150 years of service.
